Having worked with quite a few clients on implementing Dynamo, I have had a chance to receive feedback regarding package management. Here are a few of the ideas that I have heard more than once.
- Have the option to run package manager separate from Dynamo, (like Dynamo sandbox). This would enable users to be able to update packages that use DLLs easier. Right now if a package uses DLLs, you have to close and open Revit repeatedly.
- Notifications that packages have updates.
- Auto-Update Feature (might be too far-fetched and less desirable on a large scale though).
- Option to choose "Do not download dependencies", for packages like Bakery that have a ton of dependencies.
- Ability to "co-author" or reassign a package owner.
