• SSE streams serialize mapper booleans as 0/1 instead of true/false

• examples: Dockerfiles ignore the committed lockfiles (non-reproducible images, lockfiles untested by CI)

• examples: eslint.config.js imports undeclared packages (breaks lint under pnpm)

• Prelude visibility changes break out-of-tree consumers with no signal here (#1448 + #1446 broke skjs)

• skargo: the compiler is not a fingerprint input, so a target dir shared between compilers is silently reused or dies on wrong file format: static_state.db

• skc renders stdlib diagnostics from a stale .sklib snapshot under a live source path, so the error contradicts the file it names

• The stage3 self-hosting fixpoint check in skiplang/compiler/Makefile compares files skargo never writes, so it silently never runs

• Build: .PHONY targets used as prerequisites of real files force unconditional rebuilds (wasm llc/llvm-ar re-run on every no-op build)

SkipLabs/skip#1495 · Filter by author mbouaziz opened on Jul 28, 2026

• Build: several Makefile rules list prerequisites that do not match what they build (** is not globstar; wasm skdb, build/package, $(SKDB_CMD))

SkipLabs/skip#1494 · Filter by author mbouaziz opened on Jul 28, 2026

• prelude/runtime/Makefile has no header dependency tracking: editing runtime.h rebuilds nothing and silently relinks stale objects

SkipLabs/skip#1493 · Filter by author mbouaziz opened on Jul 28, 2026

• skiplang/compiler/Makefile: multi-target rules run their recipe twice, racing under -j on a recursive make that rm -rf's shared libbacktrace state

• FileSystem.realpath returns "" on failure, so a missing sklib reports Could not open file: with no filename

SkipLabs/skip#1491 · Filter by author mbouaziz opened on Jul 28, 2026

• skargo check fails from a clean tree: check-mode units emit no .sklib but same-package dependents link against it
