return diff position start from 0?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Run sample code (BasicJavaApp_Task1) of

What is the expected output? 
The position should start from 1.
What do you see instead?
The position should start from 0.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.2.1 & windows 7 Enterprise
