Dual mod files when switching mod version

Please confirm the following.

• I checked the existing issues for duplicate problems
• I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal

Describe the bug

When switching mod version to a version that is not stated as compatible with the Minecraft version the profile is set to it downloads a second file and does not replace the first one.

Steps to reproduce

1. Have a mod installed
2. Click on mod name
3. Switch version to one not the same as Minecraft version
4. Second mod file is added to mod list

Expected behavior

The version that was in the profile gets replaced with the version that was switched to
