From d9758bc82bb2e4bcf6ac385ae82d7bd4b0daac80 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "claude[bot]" <41898282+claude[bot]@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Thu, 15 Oct 2026 00:44:55 +0000 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] Move anal tooth (UBERON:0012468) part_of to holothurian cloaca MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Per @cmungall follow-up on PR #3789: reparent `anal tooth` from `part_of UBERON:0001353 ! anal region` to `part_of UBERON:1200005 ! holothurian cloaca`. Rationale: holothurian anal teeth ring the terminal opening of the holothurian cloaca (the structure added in #3789); the "anal region" part_of was a vertebrate-centric approximation inherited from the original 2012 placement. The new part_of is more anatomically precise and keeps the (non-)homology commitments consistent — the holothurian cloaca is deliberately not asserted to be a kind of vertebrate cloaca, and anal tooth remains outside the vertebrate tooth lineage.
