DSS Computing Bootcamp 2026

Computing bootcamp materials for incoming Ph.D. and M.S. students in the Department of Statistical Science at Duke University. These materials are adapted from those developed by Shawn Santo, Alex Fischer, Mine Çetinkaya-Rundel, and Colin Rundel.

All source files for the slides and in-class activities are available in the GitHub repository, which you will learn to fork and clone during the bootcamp.

The literate programming activity uses the UN votes example (examples/unvotes.qmd in the repository).
