A beneficiary agent that rejects a transfer because the beneficiary name does not match its customer can only say so in the free-text reason. tap-go allows one Reject code today, AC03. This adds a second one, RejectCodeInconsistentWithEndCustomer (BE01), so the receiver gets the reason as a code.

  • BE01 is the ISO 20022 ExternalStatusReason1Code value banks and payment schemes use for a name/account mismatch.
  • NewRejectMessage now accepts it; parsing was already lenient, so older versions keep the code and ignore it.
  • The spec change is TAIP-4: add the BE01 Reject code TAIPs#66, which adds the row to the TAIP-4 code table.
