curl still fetches install-pi.sh from main so installer fixes ship immediately. The clone now uses releases/latest (same tree as the source zip) unless --ref / ARFBOT_REF is set. --ref main tracks tip-of-tree.
The installer records the git tag (or git describe from a checkout) as a one-line file the PLC can read with SysFile as Application/RELEASE. Written before re-exec so an older cloned installer still leaves the file.
PRs into main fail unless Codesys/ArfBot.xml differs from main, ArfBot.project changes are paired with an XML export, and GVL_Version.sPlcVersion is set and not equal to main.
