Captures the non-obvious things learned working on this repo's build system and CI over the last several PRs, so future work (AI-assisted or not) doesn't have to re-derive them: the CMake/Makefile split, the double-CI-run trigger fix, the Git-Bash-parentheses VS-detection issue, the clang-cl/ARM64EC SIMD intrinsic header gotchas, the still-unresolved OpenEXR/mingw pre-main hang, the ASan verification workflow used for the recent CVE fixes, and where the issue #35 CVE triage currently stands.
