No CS degree, no bootcamp — 14 years of figuring things out in production, starting as an IT generalist at a hospital, 7.5 years as a PHP backend developer, and since 2023, Kubernetes, GKE, and site reliability engineering.

Recent work:
- Diagnosed and fixed a production autoscaling incident with a KEDA pre-scaling strategy, then traced and resolved an unrelated RabbitMQ-driven crash loop across ~140 deployments.
- Led a 5 Whys RCA on a P1 cluster outage spanning three independent root causes (registry deprecation, security-agent misconfig, unmanaged log growth).
- Built and personally verified a Cloud SQL / bastion security-hardening reference implementation for a client compliance audit.
