One of three sponsor-page redesign candidates built for side-by-side comparison (see also the Live Set and Green Room Wall PRs). Preview at /sponsor/cover-story.

The concept

The page is an editorial feature profile OF Robbie and Adam — the sponsor reads a magazine story and reaches the rate card already convinced. Masthead row ("The Sponsor Issue · 2026"), cover-scale photo of Adam mid-talk under the stained glass with the cover line "The two developers your audience already follows", standfirst, drop-cap feature copy with a ruled pull-quote, sticky pull-stat rail (76K+ / 100K+ / Top 10%), print-credit photo spread, X clippings, boxed Warp case study, a ruled "Previously featuring" partner list, the rate card, and a signed close.

Notes

• All stats verified against live public profiles on 2026-08-21; X posts are static styled cards of real posts — no embed script.
• Shared with the other two PRs: src/data/sponsor.ts, X post / partner / video components, web-sized event photos (originals preserved locally, gitignored).
• Page is noindex while it's a candidate. The existing /sponsor is untouched.
• TODO before promoting: three X post permalinks in src/data/sponsor.ts still point at profile roots — need the real status URLs from the hosts.
